Menton

Situated between Monaco and the Italian border and nicknamed the 'Pearl of France', Menton is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea on one side and the mountains of the Alpes-Maritimes on the other, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. It is renowned for its mild, sunny climate, beautiful architecture, sumptuous villas and lush botanical gardens such as the Jardin Serre de la Madone and the Jardin Botanique Ex exotique, home to a wide variety of rare and exotic plants. A town of art and history, Menton is also famous for its Lemon Festival, held every year in February.
